Rhonda Anderson - Accounts Specialist II x 612
I have joined the Dyne team in July 2019 with 5 + years with a variety of administrative, customer service and accounting skills. I had no idea what type of work they did here. I started out learning how to enter the incoming foam samples for testing. Eventually I learned to enter incoming sprinkler samples and from that point I started learning so much more. I now perform a large variety of duties here. I manage the incoming lab emails, prepare and ship kit requests, answer incoming phone calls & chats, customer service, accounting, and purchasing.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Minnesota and have been with Dyne Fire Protection Labs since 2001, As the Accounts Manager, I’ve had the opportunity to work with most of our wonderful customers, and have enjoyed my time here helping to develop a growing staff, our customer services processes and many of the quality systems which help push Dyne’s growth each year. I enjoy traveling with my husband Bill (usually to warmer places during Minnesota winters), gardening, biking, boating and enjoying our lake home. We have two grown kids and a very active pooch…Luna, a boxer who keeps us very busy.

Joan Leedy - Technical Director x 607
I founded Dyne Technologies, LLC in 1999 after working for over 15 years in laboratory and marketing fire protection positions at 3M—firefighting foam and clean agent. Dyne was built on the premise that if we made testing foam easier, faster and more accurate, it would be more likely to get done, and today we are extending that same principle to sprinkler testing. My responsibility as technical director is to make Dyne one of the best testing laboratories in the world by ensuring accurate, precise and unbiased results within the requirements of an ISO-certified quality management system. Having been a member of NFPA 11 for over a decade, I am now the chairman and I am looking forward to the responsibilities that will entail.
In my off time, I split my time between Wisconsin and Arizona, hiking, snow skiing, waterskiing and golfing. I also find time to visit my three adult children and their families (yes I am proud to say I am a grandmother but like to go by the name Gigi) who have had the sense to move out of the cold and now reside in Texas and Arizona.
Grant Lobdell - President x 606
I grew up on a dairy farm in Mora, Minnesota. I started at Dyne Fire Protection Labs in 2013 as a Laboratory Technician after graduating from the University of Minnesota. I was Dyne’s Lab Manager from 2014 to 2019 before moving to the General Manager in 2020 and then President in 2023. As president, I’m tasked with creating, communicating and implementing Dyne’s mission and overall direction.
Alyssa Mehlhorn - Lab Manager x 609

I also completed my master’s degree in forensic science in May 2021 from Stevenson University. I was hired as a lab technician for Dyne
in the summer of 2018. Starting in that position piqued my interest in the fire and safety industry and I have since been promoted
to Lab Manager at Dyne!
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, kayaking, hiking, and shopping. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
