Dyne Fire Protection Labs is pleased to offer low expansion firefighting foam testing services.  NFPA and other recognized standards recommend the testing of low expansion concentrate be done annually.

Dyne Fire Protection Labs tests both the physical properties and performance properties of a low expansion concentrate according to NFPA recommendations.  A foam concentrate’s quality is illustrated in a pass/fail criteria based on the performance of that foam in the laboratory.

Dyne Fire Protection Labs tests the following types of low expansion firefighting foam concentrates: 

Class B Low Expansion Foam Concentrates

  • Standard Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) 
  • Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AR-AFFF)
  • Protein
  • Fluoroprotein
  • Film Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP)
  • Alcohol Resistant Film Forming Fluoroprotein (AR-FFFP)
